Ravichandran Ashwin reveals his preferred playing XI for RCB in IPL 2023

Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who is set to represent the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, has revealed his preferred playing XI for the team.

In a recent interview, Ashwin named his ideal RCB playing XI for the upcoming season. The 35-year-old spinner picked a strong and balanced side, consisting of experienced campaigners and promising youngsters.

Ashwin’s RCB playing XI for IPL 2023 includes Virat Kohli (c), Devdutt Padikkal, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers (wk), Washington Sundar, Kyle Jamieson, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj, Navdeep Saini, Harshal Patel, and Akash Deep.

Explaining his choices, Ashwin said, “I think it’s a pretty balanced side with a good mix of experienced players and young talents. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have been the backbone of RCB’s batting for a long time, and I expect them to continue their good form in the upcoming season.”

Ashwin also expressed his excitement at playing alongside some of the world’s best players in the RCB squad. He praised the team’s talent and spirit, saying, “I am really looking forward to playing with the likes of Kohli, de Villiers, and Maxwell. We have a great team spirit, and I am sure we will perform well in the upcoming IPL.”
